Basic Breakdown
Women's Club Volleyball was found in Fall of 2013 and was designed to allow individuals of all skill levels be successful and have a good experience in our club and in the sport of volleyball. We wish to continue to allow young women to enjoy and love volleyball at the club collegiate level.
Dues
Dues are payed by the semester. It is $60 for a new member (first semester) and then only $30. It is our main goal to make this club as affordable and available as possible.
Teams
Our goal each year is to have at least two teams, a black team (A), a silver team (B), a green team (C) and a recreational group. Teams will be decided based on two hour long tryout held in August each year. Two of the officers will play in the tryouts and two of the officers will observe the tryouts to ensure that the best opinions and decisions can be formed. The differences between the teams can be viewed below
Tryouts
Trouts will be held at a date to be announced. You can register for tryouts by emailing [email protected]
Tournaments
We are a competitive club and attend as well as host tournaments. Tournaments are a lot of fun and allow individuals to travel to a bunch of different places! The tournaments attended are also listed under the tournament and practice tab!
Practice
The practice schedule is TEMPORARY, but can be found on the practice tab. We encourage all members to attend all practices, but also are understanding when it conflicts with other events or organizations. Our main thoughts and policy on practice is that if you put in an effort and respect club volleyball, then we respect all of the other organizations you are involved in. We want our members to be as diverse as possible, but also understand the importance of committing to the club!
Fundraising
Fundraising is a large part of our club and we host multiple events on campus each semester. It is expected that all members will participate in all fundraising events in some form. Last year we were successful in fundraising over $6,000!

More than just volleyball
Leadership
Women's Club Volleyball allows students to take on unique leadership roles and entirely run the club as a community. For once, the athletes are in charge of their own practices, games, and whole experience.
Teamwork
To make all of this a possibility Club Volleyball encourages making relationships that are more than just friends, but teammates. Learn the skills of how to work with a diverse group and how to overcome obstacles together.
Community Service
Encouraging and hosting events that relate to community service organizations is incredibly important to our club. The proceeds from our annual Dig Pink Tournament are donated to breast cancer research and during our annual Stetson Spring Slam we host a book drive to send books to military overseas.
